I went to a local life-drawing class at the Beehive Pub (in Swindon), last Sunday (30th July, 5pm-8pm approx.), which is held every 2 months. I haven't been under time pressure since the "Big Painting Challenge" so it was interested to feel that again.
The format was two 3-minute sketches, two 5-five minute, a 10 minute and a final 20 minute piece. This was repeated with a different costume for the model. The theme for the session was "Under The Sea", with the costume for the first set being a mermaid, and the second a jellyfish.
The whole thing was great fun; its nice to meet some new people interested in art, and assuming it works out for me time-wise I would certainly like to go again!
